I have not been photographing much lately. Hopefully, I will pick it up with the new year. This picture is from my trip to Elizabeth City last week. I was at the waterside when I photographed this sailboat leaving the harbor.

Sunrise at Kitty Hawk Pier

This morning I decided to get up early and head out to the Outer Banks to photograph the sunrise. Yesterday, Tropical Storm Hannah passed through northeastern North Carolina, and I was curious to see how the sunrise might be this morning.
